About

Emmanuel

Emmanuel started in Advertising as a junior Copywriter and Art Director at Origin8 Saatchi & Saatchi in 2007. It’s been fourteen interesting years since he wrote his first lines of copy and he hasn’t looked back since.

At Saatchis, he was a lead writer on the creative team that successfully oversaw the transition of Areeba Telecoms to MTN. The ‘GO’ launch campaign which they created was key in making MTN a giant in telecommunications in Ghana and the sub-region.

In 2009, Emmanuel became the lead creative at Zain Telecoms, where he led their in-house creative team to build a successful brand that was eventually taken over by Bharti Airtel. Not long after, he joined Publicis West Africa where he eventually became Creative Director. At Publicis, he led hugely successful efforts for brands such as, Nestlé, where his breakthrough work with Cerelac received global attention in the Nestle world. His iconic work on ‘Speak Up Nigeria’, a campaign for Vicks was a runaway success for the brand in Africa.

Emmanuel has also worked on successful campaigns for brands such as Vodafone, Western Union, CFAO Motors and UNICEF. He has had stints in Advertising in Lagos, Joburg and Cape Town. He is based in Accra, Ghana and works as the Creative Director for Now Available Africa. He is interested in work that is original and insightful and has passion for ideas that are purposeful, truly engaging and effective across platforms.
