Background

In today’s world, it’s all too easy to get lost in the endless scroll of social media, messaging apps, and other distractions on your phone. We often find ourselves glued to our screens, mindlessly swiping and scrolling away precious hours of our day. As a result, we miss out on new connections, experiences, and even life-changing moments. Our campaign tagged ‘’Why Not Look Up?’’ Is to address this problem.

Creative Idea

According to Reid Health, the recommended time for mobile screen time is 2 hours daily. Since virtual escapism has become a pandemic, we thought it would be nice to address it and encourage people to look away from their phones, look up and be a part of what is happening around them. We looked at different scenarios where phone distractions could possibly cause danger or missed opportunities and communicated them using short copies and animated pictures.

Strategy

We conducted a research and decided to look for the most effective way to pass our message across. We used picture slides, each slide addressed a scenario and a call to action.

Execution

We shared this campaign across various social media platforms and encouraged people to participate in it as a personal challenge.

Results

We have had people share their resolutions to intentionally reduce their daily screen-time.
