Maurice Ugwonoh is a seasoned creative and marketing communications storyteller with over 17 years’ experience spanning full service creative agencies which comprises of JWT Lagos, Leo-Burnette Lagos, DDB Lagos as well as experiential agencies including FKG2 and FCB Impact Lagos. Maurice is currently Creative Director at Noah’s Ark Communications and has over the course of his storied career designed communications for Nigerian, African and Global brands across a wide variety of industries like financial services, automobile, hospitality, oil and gas, advocacy and social enterprise, FMCG, telecommunications, entertainment with notable brands like Knoor, Old Mutual, Hypo, Indomie, Durex, North American Airline, Quickteller, Peak, Nokia, Netflix, Maltina, Glo, MTN and Airtel to mention a few.

Maurice is a graduate of the University of Ibadan where he bagged a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology. After this, Maurice furthered his academics and merited professional Certificates in Consumer Behaviour and Marketing Communications respectively from Edinburgh Business School, Herriot Wats University, UK. Maurice is also an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Marketing ACIM and holds a post graduate degree in Professional Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing, UK.

Maurice is an accomplished, multiple award winning Creative Director who has been integral to his agencies winning some of the industry most coveted local and international prizes. These include Marketing Edege, Brandcom, LAIF Awards, Pitchers Awards, African Cistal Awards, Loeries Awards and also Epica Awards amongst others. Maurice currently ranks N0 8 in the Lurzier’s Archive Global Creative Director ranking.
