Pitcher Festival 2026 events will be held from 14 – 16 May 2026.   The pre-festival sessions for the Future Pitcher Student Academy (dedicated programme for university students entering the industry) will be held  from 23 - 27 March 2026, while that of  Young Pitcher Academy (dedicated programme for professionals of up to 30 years) will be held from 9 - 20 March 2026.

• Future Pitcher Student Academy– professional immersion programme for students in tertiary institutions

• Young Pitcher Academy – training and competitions for professionals under 30 

• Pitcher Impact - Creating a Better Africa - this is the advocacy arm of the festival and will include programmes sessions dedicating to promoting development and sustainability in Africa. 

• Pitcher Showcase - traveling pop-up exhibition that celebrates outstanding African creativity — moving from city to city and spotlighting the continent’s boldest ideas, stories, and innovations.
