Uduakabasi Akpan is a creative professional and a trained marketer who is passionate about big ideas and the power they possess to impact lives, change narratives, and drive business objectives.

With well over ten years of experience, he’s sailed through the waters of digital, and integrated marketing, progressively honing his abilities, and helping business visionaries attain success through the magic of creativity.

He currently serves as creative director, at Anakle Limited, a digital/integrated marketing agency based in Lagos, Nigeria, where he generates digital products and integrated campaigns for some of Nigeria's biggest brands. Uduak is an avid believer in creative excellence and efficiency.

In addition to working in Marketing and Communications, he is also a visual artist who loves to create expressions that connect to the heart and soul of his audience.

He holds a Higher National Diploma in Fine Arts from the prestigious School of Art, Design, and Printing, Yaba College of Technology. He is also a product of the reputable School of Pop Culture Engineering, Miami Ad School, a graduate of the Sneaker Essentials Program at the Fashion Institute of Technology(FIT), State University of New York, a certified Digital Marketing Professional from the Digital Marketing Institute and a certified Project Manager from Simon Page College of Marketing.

He won the 2016 edition of the Lagos Advertising and Ideas Festival for young advertising professionals. Over the years his works have gone on to win awards and recognition locally and internationally. He also served on the jury of the Loerie Awards, the largest creative festival in Africa and the Middle East, which was held in Cape Town, South Africa.

Outside work and creating art, he enjoys swimming, adventuring on two wheels, and experimenting with new tech.
