Carolina

With 25 years of strategic and visual communications experience, Carolina Rodriguez heads the international, award-winning agency Dilucidar, which has a strong track record delivering high-impact work across Africa. Based in Singapore, she is a global citizen from Chile, Argentina, and Sweden.

She specializes in creating advocacy campaigns, partnerships, and outreach projects that communicate policy, sustainability, and ESG issues in creative, innovative ways. Her career began at the United Nations in Santiago, New York and Geneva. She later headed Communications and Partnerships for the Africa Progress Panel under Kofi Annan, collaborating with world leaders to advance development across Africa. Since then, she has been working with organisations and institutions across Africa using creativity as a force for positive change and impact.

Her campaigns have won a number of awards, including a Bronze Pitcher Award in the Good category for Dilucidar’s Killer Facts campaign addressing inequality in West Africa for Oxfam in 2022, recognizing its creative excellence in purpose-driven impact.

As Chair of the Sustainability Committee at the Swedish Chamber of Commerce in Singapore, she drove business campaigns for collective impact, including the award-winning #Candid: 100 Perspectives on Gender Equality, which championed doubling paternity leave.

Carolina is passionate about sharing knowledge with emerging leaders. She teaches storytelling and data visualization for the Kofi Annan Foundation’s Change-makers programme, has been a guest lecturer at the Asia School of Business MIT-ASB MBA programme, and has been mentoring female entrepreneurs for the past eight years via the African Women Entrepreneurship Cooperative (AWEC). She has been a Jury member for the Pitcher awards since 2023.
