Colette

Colette Amaeshi is a seasoned Marketing & Communications professional with over a dozen years of experience in telling unique brand stories within the FMCG, Retail, Real Estate, Venture Capital, Media and Marketing Industries.

She has worked with various international and Pan-African brands such as Unilever Nigeria, Miniso, Broll, Ultimus Holdings & Pulse Africa.

Currently, she holds the position of Managing Director at Pulse Ghana, which is Africa's leading innovative media and marketing company with presence in Ghana, Nigeria, Cote D’Iviore, Kenya, Uganda and Senegal.

Prior to this, she served as the Head of Strategy, Brand Communications & Marketing at ULTIMUS Holdings, a Pan-African Venture Capital Company focused on contributing to the sustainable development of African economies.

Colette also worked as the Marketing Communications & Business Development Manager at Miniso Nigeria, where she played a key role in telling the brand story and securing the first 20 stores for MINISO in the Nigerian retail market.

She holds a first degree in Political Science from the University of Ibadan, a Postgraduate Diploma in Mass Communications from the National Open University of Nigeria, and an MBA from Nexford University in Washington DC.

In 2024, Colette was awarded as the “Rising Leader of year” by the Women’s Choice Awards Africa. In 2025, she was named as part of the Top 40 Women in African Entertainment by 3 Music TV, Ghana alongside other prominent and seasoned women in the African media and entertainment landscape. She has also been appointed as part of the 2025 Pitcher Festival Awards Jury. And she is also a member of the AAG Gong Gong Awards Board.

When Colette is not working, you will catch her on the tennis court or on her couch binge watching a thriller/horror/romcom series.
