Awo Somuah is a cultural architect and Event Director whose innovative leadership and passion for creating unforgettable experiences have firmly established her as an innovator in Ghana’s Experiential Marketing industry. Based in Accra – Ghana, she currently serves as the Event Director at Echo Live, a division of the 360° marketing agency - EchoHouse Africa, where she has masterfully curated some of the most impactful and culturally relevant events in West Africa.
Awo’s journey into the world of Experiential Marketing began with a foundation in science and business and joining EchoHouse Africa as an Account Executive where she worked on Experiential Marketing campaigns for brands such as Pernod Ricard, Diageo, Vodafone, among others.
In her current role as the Event Director at Echo Live, she has spearheaded high-profile events that have redefined the cultural and social landscape of Ghana and Liberia, including the Tidal Rave Beach Festival, the Around The World Food and Drinks Festival. Her innovative and creative approach to experiential design and execution earned the Tidal Rave Beach Festival both Silver and Bronze awards at the 2024 Pitcher Awards, cementing her reputation as a creative force.
