I am Rita Nana Adwoa Arthur a Ghanaian writer, filmmaker, poet and creative. My writing extends across marketing, advertising, corporate communications, and various types of creative writing.

I have worked in advertising and marketing communications in various creative capacities
since 2012 and served as a Regional Creative Group Head with Publicis West Africa until December of 2025.

My poetry and short films address social and environmental issues, spirituality, as well as the nuances of the human experience, heavily influenced by the the female perspective.

As a poet I write and perform under the name Nana Adowa Adoma. I have been practicing performance poetry since 2008 and have collaborated with agencies such as World Bank, UNICEF and Ghana Climate Innovation Centre to address pertinent local and global, issues using the power of storytelling and creativity.
