Uduakabasi Akpan, or ‘Uddy’ as he is fondly called, is a visual storyteller and a brand and marketing communications professional, passionate about positively touching lives and helping brands succeed.

He began his advertising journey as an Illustrator and has sailed through different arms of the brand and marketing communications industry, progressively honing his abilities, growing and helping people and businesses connect and win through the work he and his team does.

Currently serving as Creative Director Dentsu Nigeria, His creative leadership cuts across brand storytelling, creative strategy, design, innovation, digital brand strategy and brand experiences. He is an avid believer in creative excellence and efficiency.

In addition to working in brand advertising, he is a visual artist, who tells stories with the stroke of his brush on conventional and unconventional surfaces.

He holds a Higher National Diploma in Fine Arts from the prestigious School of Art, Design, and Printing, Yaba College of Technology. He is also a product of the reputable School of Pop Culture Engineering-Miami Ad School, a graduate of the Fashion Institute of Technology(FIT), State University of New York, a certified Digital Marketing Professional from the Digital Marketing Institute, and a trained Project Manager from Simon Page College of Marketing.

Beyond his professional achievements, Uddy is known for his adventurous spirits as a sports bike enthusiast - cutting through wind and the popular Lagos traffic on his inline-four super-sport motorcycle. A personality trait that mirrors his fast-paced approach to creativity.
