We used AI, specifically CHATGPT to help in ideating for imagery.

BACKGROUND
For years, the thought of esports has painted only one kind of player in our minds. The hardcore male kind. Even though there are female players and a whole set of people who participate in other competitive e-games, they do not call themselves gamers because they don’t believe that they fit in that space.

INSIGHT
People feel invited into spaces where they can finally see themselves. Meaning when we essentially ‘make room for them’ in esports communities, they feel represented enough to change that mindset.

IDEA
“Everyone has a place in the game” draws from this insight to widen the narrow scope of the concept of gaming and e-sports in general from just hard core gaming, to even the simple competitive ones we play on our phones, like Candy Crush and Subway Surfers, broadening our target audience from just men, to women, girls and all the in-betweens and painting the idea that everyone belongs.
