Uduakabasi Akpan is a tireless creative looking for every opportunity to create. Be it tangible solutions for brand businesses or for entertainment. He’s currently doing so as a Group Head-Creative at Yellow Brick Road (YBR) Limited, an advertising agency based in Lagos Nigeria. Uduak is a strong believer that creative people should spread their energy into every corner of the vast world of business, technology, finance, space exploration, government etc. and come up with solutions that will usher the human race fully into a thriving and prosperous digital age.

In addition to working as a creative in advertising, he is a visual artist (Graffiti Artist) and a Sneaker School graduate. He was the overall winner in the 2016 Edition of the Young LAIF (Lagos Advertising and Ideas Festival) awards and his creative contributions have gone on to win awards both locally and internationally for his present agency and agencies he has worked with. He also has some personal wins from international independent creative competitions under his belt.

He holds a Higher National Diploma in Fine Arts from The School of Art, Design and Printing, Yaba College of Technology. He is also certified in Integrated Ideas, Advanced Campaign Creation and Copywriting from the Miami Ad School (School of Pop Culture Engineering) and a graduate of the Sneaker Essentials Program from the Fashion Institute of Technology, State University of New York in conjunction with Complex Magazine.

He’s a lover of creative excellence, a cyclist, sneaker collector and a travel buff.
