Mariam Ayoade is an experienced professional with exceptional leadership, mentorship skills and an outstanding record of innovation and motivation.
She is a business leader who thrives on driving growth and engaging consumer experiences by activating a unique mix of media strategies, innovation and marketing. Her background in information systems fuels her passion to inspire both consumers and the teams she works with providing innovative solutions.
Trained as a Data analyst and a qualified PRINCE 2 practitioner, she started her career in Data analysis and Research, she then veered into digital media to became a Certified Internet marketer (CIM); she further went on to specialize in Digital Strategy and Planning from the Digital Marketing Institute, Ireland and Digital Business in the University of Salford.
She has specialized in marketing communications for over 12 years and has developed multiple marketing campaigns strategies for small, medium and large income brands in the Telecommunication, Financial and FMCG industries to mention a few.
She currently belongs to multiple digital marketing associations including the prestigious Internet Marketing Associations’ “Women’s Leadership group” in the Unites States of America where she is a founding member;
Other associations include the Institute of Direct and Digital Marketing, United Kingdom and the Institute of Digital Marketing Ireland.
She has multiple certifications, has spoken at multiple conferences and has trained people across multiple organizations, taught at the Alphabet media academy and other corporate organizations where she has facilitated trainings on different aspects of digital marketing,
She was also an Associate Faculty member and a facilitator on Digital Media and Marketing at the Alphabet Media Academy.
Mariam currently is the Director Marketing, Media and Digital for Sub Saharan Africa at Visa Corporation There she is responsible for overseeing the media and digital strategy development, execution and implementing the global marketing communication strategies for the company.
