A Growing Journey Across Cities
The Pitcher Showcase began its journey in 2025, debuting during Cannes Lions Festival in Cannes, France. Later that year, it made its way to Lagos, Africa’s creative capital, where winners and community members gathered to celebrate their success in person.
These early editions marked the beginning of a larger vision: to take African creativity on the road, meeting our community where they are and expanding the festival’s footprint across the continent and beyond.
Today, the Pitcher Showcase continues to evolve, with plans to visit even more cities, each one adding its own energy, culture, and creative spirit to the journey.
Rooted in Talent and Growth
The Showcase is part of a broader ecosystem that champions creativity at every level.
From the Future Pitcher Student Academy (FPSA) and the Young Pitcher Academy (YPA), which bring together young talents from across Africa and beyond, to the festival’s ongoing commitment to mentorship, collaboration, and cultural exchange, the Pitcher Festival is shaping the future of the African creative industry.
