Film 1

This submission was produced using a combination of generative AI tools and human creative direction. AI-generated stills were created using Nano Banana Pro and ChatGPT 2.0, while motion content was generated through Seedance 2.0, Kling 3.0, and Kling 3.0 Motion Control from original prompts authored by the creative team. To improve the realism of the lip shots central to the film's narrative, real voice recordings and live-action lip-motion references from two models were used as inputs to guide the AI's lip-sync and micro-expression output. All music and sound effects are copyright-free stock assets sourced from Pixabay and CapCut, with no licensed, trademarked, or proprietary audio used. The creative concept, script, direction, voice performances, and final edit are the work of the human creative team — AI was used as a production tool operating under specific human direction, not as the author of the work.

Rather than ask permission for women to belong in gaming, we wanted to declare it. Most inclusion campaigns invite women in, which still positions them as outsiders being welcomed. Our move was sharper: take a phrase Ghana and Nigeria already know — "Men are players" — and flip it. "Women are players." Same words, new context. The double meaning of the word "player" in West African English (romantic vs gaming) became the engine of the entire idea: a misdirection that lets the audience hear one thing and discover another.
